Real Madrid have confirmed that Belgium professional footballer, Eden Hazard will be leaving the club at the end of June.
This was revealed in a club statement which confirmed that the former Chelsea forward has reached an agreement to disassociate from the club as of June 30, 2023.
The 32-year-old Belgian international who had joined the Los Blancos in 2019 spent most of his time on the benhh due to injuries at the club.
Since joining Madrid, Hazard have had 54 appearances scoring only four times.
The club statement reads, “Real Madrid and Eden Hazard have reached an agreement by which the player is disassociated from the club as of June 30, 2023”
According to Fabrizio Romano, Hazard will decide whether he will be joining another club in the next transfer as a free agent or retiring from Football.
He said, “Eden Hazard leaves Real Madrid — the contract is now terminated by mutual agreement, he’s free agent.
Hazard will decide whether trying new chapter or retiring and leaving professional football career soon.”
