Kogi State Governor-Elect, Ahmed Usman Ododo has been sworn in as the fifth Executive Governor of Kogi State having been duly declared winner of the November 2023 Gubernatorial election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Yahaya Adoza Bello handed over in Lokoja as Ododo took the oath of office on Saturday at approximately 2:24 p.m.
Salifu Joel Oyibo, the deputy governor of Kogi State, took the oath of office shortly before he was sworn in.
Ododo becomes the fifth Executive Governor of the state of Kogi after being sworn in.
Top All Progressives Congress members were present, along with Vice President Kashim Shettima and Ododo’s predecessor Yahaya Bello.
