The Katsina Local Government election kicked off on Saturday, with former President Muhammadu Buhari casting his vote at Polling Unit 003, Sarkin Yarn Ward A in Daura, alongside Commissioner for Special Duties Adnan Na-Habu Daura.
Governor Dikko Radda, his wife Zulaihat, Deputy Faruk Jobe, and former governors Ibrahim Shema and Aminu Masari also exercised their right to vote.
Governor Radda expressed optimism about the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerging victorious, citing the numerous projects executed by his administration.
“People should expect their votes to be counted,” he assured, emphasizing his confidence in the APC’s win.
With the election underway, the people of Katsina await the outcome, hoping for a free and fair process.
