Cross River State Governmment, has announced to all state and LG pensioners to immediately undergo Bank Verification Exercise.
The office of the Head of Service, announced this in a statement on Wednesday.
Signed by Dr Innocent Eteng, it said said the state Governor Sen Otu gave the directive.
The exercise scheduled on January 8, through 19, 2024, will be handled by 21 Banks in the state.
Governor Otu requested all pensioners to visit their nearest payment receiving Bank, for “verification of their BVN, and finger print on the date assigned to their Banks.”
“This is for strict compliance,” he stated.
