C’River Deputy Gov. Receives Pupils Of Kids ‘N Us School, Harps On Moral Discipline

The Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Rt Hon. Peter Odey, has urged pupils from Kids ‘N Us School to embrace high moral character.

He gave the charge when the pupils paid him a courtesy visit in his office at Government House, Calabar.

While engaging in an interactive session with pupils, the deputy governor took the time to answer questions from the children.

The Chief Press Secretary Fred Abua Esq made this known in a WhatsApp post to Truth Live News on Sunday.

Abua said he urged them to demonstrate a strong dedication to their studies.

Also, Odey advised them to prepare themselves to tackle future challenges, and embrace high moral character.

Again, he emphasized that excellence is achieved through hard work.

He further urged them to make the most of the excellent facilities provided by the school and strive to become valuable citizens.

Moreover, he called on the school management and teachers to showcase mentorship and foster a strong sense of moral discipline among the pupils.

Meanwhile, one of the teachers who accompanied the pupils, Mrs Victoria Ekpo has expressed gratitude to the Deputy Governor for his magnanimity.

She also explained that the pupils and Kid ‘N Us School were truly fortunate to have had the opportunity to interact with him.

In addition, Mrs Ekpo praised the state government for fostering a conducive environment where educational activities can thrive.
