Cross River State Governor Sen. Bassey Edet Otu, has approved appointment of an acting Paramount Ruler for Akpabuyo LGA, in the Southern Senatorial District.
He is Etinyin Francis Efiom Edem Efa.
Until his appointment Etinyin Efa is the Clan head of Esuk Mba Clan in Akpabuyo LGA.
Also, as the eldest Clan head he has been appointed the chairman of the Akpabuyo traditional rulers council.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary Comrade Nsa Gill and posted on social media says the appointment takes immediate effect.
However, the Governor said he looks up to a sustained peaceful coexistence in that LGA.
Also, he sues for an atmosphere of healthier communal ties among residents and indigenes.
Therefore, he has also wish the acting Paramount Ruler Godspeed in his assignment.
