To afford citizens opportunity to be critical part of security architecture, the Cross River State Governmment has launched what it calls “Whistle Blower Desk” in the office of the Senior State Security Adviser.
A statement made available to media outlets in the state with reference number SSG/SSO/430/S.1/VOL. II/32, said the Desk will afford citizens the confidentiality to report suspected criminal acts especially kidnapping.
For any person who provides credible information leading to the arrest of any kidnapper in the case of Prof Ekanem Ephraim-Philip will be rewarded with N5million incentive.
The statement in part reads, “Public service announcement security information. Additionally, information that will leads to arrest of any kidnapper will attract a Cash reward.”
