Fulani Herdmen Kill two In Nasarawa

A herder allegedly killed two young men in Angwan Doka II, Mararaba, Karu LGA of Nasarawa State, over a grazing dispute on April 27, 2025.

 

The incident began when the herder’s cattle ate flowers owned by 21-year-old Arigu David, leading to a confrontation.

 

The herder allegedly attacked David with a machete, killing him on the spot.

 

Michael Snu, 34, a friend of the deceased who tried to intervene, was also attacked and sustained severe injuries.

 

Snu later died at the Mararaba Medical Centre.

 

Security officials confirmed that both bodies have been deposited at the hospital morgue.

 

Investigations are ongoing, and efforts are underway to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
