In a bid to further relegate and prune down the enormous powers of the embattled Edo State deputy governor, Philip Shaibu, the governor, Godwin Obaseki who is code named as “Ematon” (Iron) due to his numerous battles he has fought since his inception as the governor of the state and emerged victorious, has further humiliated his deputy.

Truth Live News gathered that the humiliation this time around is the relocation of the deputy governor’s office to an obscure and abandoned building located at No. 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue, though within the Government Reserved Area.

The plan, according to sources, is yet to fully unfold; these are merely the initial signs of potential developments. If he absconds or neglects his duties, the battle-tested governor may deploy another strategy to exert further control over the man who seeks to succeed him.

Truth Live News earlier reported that since the deputy governor came back from his abroad trip, it has has been a tale of one humiliation to another.

Truth Live News reported that his media crew were barred from covering the just concluded 60th anniversary of Midwest Referendum

held in the state and to make matter worse, he (Shaibu) has been stripped off of his media aides and he is now to apply to the ministry of information should there be anything he has to do with the media.
