Recall that Truth Live News had reported earlier on Monday that the Federal Government slammed an eight-count charge against Oduah at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The federal government had listed Oduah as sole defendant in it suit filed via EFCC, in which it accused the former minister l of falsely claiming to have lost her National Youth Service Corps certificate, among other alleged offences.
Court documents cited by this media platform indicates that the charge was filed on June 26, 2023, at the Federal High Court, Abuja Judicial Division by Ochugwu Ogbeh Esq. and Ibrahim Mohammed Esq. of the Legal and Prosecution Department of the EFCC in Benin, Edo state.
The National Youth Corp Service (NYSC) had in May 2022 written a letter marked NYSC/DHQ/PPRU/783/Vol III, in reaponse to inquiry made a group known as the Concerned Anambra North PDP Stakeholders saying that Oduah did not complete the mandatory one-year NYSC programme.
The agency said Oduah commenced her NYSC programme in 1982 but absconded and denied conspiring with the former aviation minister to hide the truth.
