Mr Aroyameh Bright has exposed that the certificate of return issued to a candidate for the Edo State House of Assembly is allegedly a forgery, as it differs from the authentic certificate of return issued by the party in Enugu, Ogun, and other states across the federation.
Mr. Aroyameh made this known in a statement forwarded to truthlive.net on Wednesday evening.
According to him, the certificate of return issued to Obaseki’s Co-Traveller does not correspond with the certificates authentically signed by the PDP National Secretary, Chairman, and Organizing Secretary on June 6, 2022 in Enugu, Ogun, and other states across the federation.
During a phone conversation with truthlive.net correspondent in Ibadan about the issue, Mr Aroyameh premised his position on the fact that the certificate of return being issued to Obaseki’s Co Travelers has a different design, possibly as a result of “a photocopied document still bearing the date 6 June 2022.”
However, Mr Aroyameh’s findings have widely sparked reactions and logical questions about the authenticity of the certificate, with many questioning and wondering whether the Edo State certificate of return was issued on the same day, at the same time, but with different ink and design.
While truthlive.net is aware that the case is pending Supreme Court decision, we assure you that we will keep a close eye on the developing story and provide you with updates as they become available.
