The Governor-Elect, Pastor Umo Eno, of Akwa Ibom state has warned the people of the State to deemphasize those things that would divide the people of the state.
He gave the warning In an Easter message made available by his media aide Tony Udoh.
Pastor Eno who enjoined the people to love one another and be ready to sacrifice for the common good, just as Jesus Christ, did said they should work to expand the layers of unity and deemphasize those things that divide them.
The past commissioner for Lands and Water Resources called on Christians across the globe to continue imbibing the message of love, peace and sacrifice which our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ exemplifies.
Eno who is the founder of the Royal Christian Centre in Uyo said Akwa Ibom is rising and is poised to continue to arise in unity, love, growth and development.
He went on to say that “Easter is a period of sacrifice of the wholesome display of undiluted love of the reawakening and renewal of our spirit of altruism.
“As we celebrate this important event in the Christian calendar, I urge you to continue to love one another, reach out to those who may be going through difficult moments and assure them to remain hopeful and optimistic. He added.
“Happy Easter and God bless us all”!
