In a recent revelation, Mr. Erhunse Oviawe, the Managing Director of Bravag Nigeria Limited, shared exciting developments about the company’s growth and success in the oil palm industry.

He attributed much of this progress to the visionary reforms introduced by Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki through the Edo State Oil Palm Programme (ESOPP).

Under the leadership of Governor Obaseki, Bravag Nigeria Limited has established an impressive 2000-hectare farm estate dedicated to oil palm cultivation.

Oviawe revealed that the company is now actively involved in exporting Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) to various parts of the country.

“We have 2,000 hectares of oil palm. We will start milling in the next one month because we have fruits coming out in bunches, we call them FFB (fresh fruit bunches).

“We are now selling to other mills in Edo State; they come in to buy. Even from outside the state, from as far as Ondo,” Oviawe explained during the interview.

He further highlighted the company’s engagement with buyers from Kwara and Delta, emphasizing the increasing demand for their products.

Oviawe disclosed that despite the upcoming inauguration of their milling plant in the next month, the company has been actively supplying FFB to other mills in the interim.

Oviawe also commended the Edo State Geographic Information Service (EdoGIS) for playing a pivotal role in facilitating a business-friendly environment within the state.

He credited the service for streamlining the process of obtaining legitimate land titles, a factor crucial for accessing financial support. This, he believes, has significantly contributed to the overall ease of doing business for Bravag Nigeria Limited.
