The process of installing a 24-hour internet service at the Edo Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Centre, Benin City , courtesy of Edo State government has begun with a visit by representatives of the Cyber firm handling the installation.
The visit was for a feasibility study where the officials assessed the coordinates.
The officials were received by the Chairman of the Edo State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Festus Alenkhe in company of the Secretary, Andy Egbon.
The state Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki had on Wednesday July 19, 2023 during a hang out with journalists at the Press Centre in Benin city promised to link the Edo NUJ Secretariat to the state government fibre optic.
