The People’s Democratic Party PDP campaign for the highly anticipated 2024 Edo State Governorship Election is set to officially kick off on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Ubiaja Township Stadium in Esan South East, Edo State. The event, slated to begin at 10 a.m., marks the formal launch of the gubernatorial campaign for the candidate of the party, signaling the start of what promises to be a competitive election season.

In a special invitation sent to Truth Live News, addressed to party leaders and faithful, the Director General of the Asue/Ogie Campaign Management Council, Hon. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, emphasized the significance of the event.
