Women from the Arewa Community in Edo state and other women from Oredo, Ikpoba Okha and Egor Local Government Areas of the state, respectively, have converged on the National Museum ground, Benin, in preparation for another roadshow for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Asue Ighodalo and his running mate, Osarodion Ogie ahead of the September 21 governorship election in the state.
The women who are seen wearing different clothes which depict their various local governments, in their large numbers were seen organizing themselves properly before hitting the major streets of Benin in a carnival-like style again.
Truth Live News Media reports that wife of the incoming governor, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Ighodalo, recently, led some women through the major streets of Benin, precisely, Mission road and others to solicit and garner support for her husband.
Truth Live News Media also reports that the recent roadshow has left a lasting impression in the minds of the electorate who have vowed to cast their votes for Asue Ighodalo.
And today’s own promises to be massive and impactful considering the number of persons and areas involved in the road walk.
With the large number of persons that have graced today’s rally, it is now crystal clear that Asue Ighodalo and his running mate, Osarodion Ogie are casting to victory.
