Benin City, the Edo State capital has been painted red and in celebration mood, following the official declaration of the top notch governorship aspirant of the ruling political party (Peoples Democratic Party) in the state, Dr. Asue Ighodalo on Wednesday, 17,2024.
Prior to this time, Truth Live News Media had reported that the bill boards of Asue Ighodalo with a popular phrase “Man Wey Sabi” have towered over other aspirants vying for the same position so much so that even the blind can see and touch them in the state.
There is barely no place you will turn to within and outside the metropolis that you will not see the glowing bill boards with the darling aspirant beaming with smile and exuding hope for a better Edo State.
The Airport Road, Benin and other areas of the city centre have been dotted with his (Asue Ighodalo) bill boards, small and large sizes.
For the official declaration, it is going to be a carnival and a cynosure to behold as preparation for his declaration has reached its feverish stage and the venue is going to be at the famous Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin.
Truth Live News Media gathered that the venue for the highly talked about event is going to be filled to capacity as party faithful across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state are going to be there life and will not want to be told of what happened.
The citizens of the state can’t wait to see and hear him address them face-to-face as he declares his intention tomorrow because they have seen his bill boards doting the length and breadth of the state but this time around, they want to see him.
They want to see their brother, son, uncle and the governor to be and in whom, they are well pleased in person.
They want to see the man that is poised to build on the legacy of Godwin Obaseki who has earned for himself, the name “The Wake and See Governor”
