The endorsement of the governorship candidate of Edo Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Asue Ighodalo and his running mate, Osarodion Ogie by the Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP), Edo State, has swelled the camp of the party, paving ways for the duo to emerge victoriously at the September 21 poll.
The CRPP said it has also resolved to support and campaign for the PDP’s candidate and his running mate
Chairman of the coalition in the State, Dr. Samson Isibor disclosed this after an extensive consultations with members of the group in the 18 local government areas of the state.
He described the PDP candidate as a first class administrator who the CRPP believes would deliver the dividends of democracy and meet the yearnings of Edo people.
According to Isibor, “we assess the antecedent and pedigree of each candidates, we found the PDP candidate more credible to lead Edo people to the promised land.
“We therefore call on all our members in all the 18 local governments in Edo State to work assiduously and vote Asue/Ogie ticket of the PDP.”
