The Board of Trustees of Esan Leadership Group (ELG), has said it would host the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) top notch governorship aspirant, Asue Ighodalo in Lagos on March 8, 2024.
The body is a political and cultural body of Edo Central Senatorial District.
A statement by Tim Okojie Ave, president of the group and Publisher/Editor-In -Chief, National Chronicle Newspaper, said Ighodalo will be honoured with the prestigious National Chronicle Newspaper Man of the Year Award during the event.
He said the decision to host Ighodalo was to further boost his acceptance among the Esan people in Lagos and beyond.
The reception, Okojie Ave said, would be attended by important personalities from the Esan nation, and well wishers.
According to the statement also, others to be honoured at the event are Peter Esele, former President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Elder Famous Enearu, Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Classic Marine Services Limited, and Prof. S.E. Eromosele, founder of Mudiame University.
