Edo Guber:PDP Chieftain, Zaks Solicits Support For Asue Ighodalo, Says Only Him Can Build On Obaseki’s Legacy

Lucky Obukohwo, Reporting

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in ward 7, Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State, and Managing Director, Zaks Bulls Enterprises, Mr. Zaks Ali, has called on the delegates of the party to do all they can to ensure that the frontline governorship aspirant of the party, Dr. Asue Ighodalo emerges victorious at the party’s primaries because him alone can build on governor Godwin Obaseki’s legacy.

He made the appeal while briefing newsmen in Benin on his relationship with the aspirant with the view of explaining to the people of the state that the aspirant is more “homeboy than those claiming to be homeboys just because of politics.

Mr. Ali said that the governorship aspirant of the party, Asue Ighodalo has the capacity to turn the economic fortune of the state around having served in Senator Adams Oshiomhole’s government when he was the governor of the state and the present government of Godwin Obaseki.

Ali added that his wealth of experience can’t be quantified unlike others who have not held any sensitive position like Asue Ighodalo.

He said besides that, Asue has also garnered a lot of experiences in the private sector which he can easily plough back into the Edo economic with the view of moving it out of the woods.

He said Asue Ighodalo is a grassroot man and a homeboy who once lived and played football at the New Benin axis of the state adding that there are a lot of his friends who are still very much alive and can attest to that.

He said moving the state forward should be everyone’s agenda and the only person that can build on the legacies of the various governors who have ruled and served the state well is Asue Ighodalo because there are evidence to that fact because of his background as economic expert.
