The Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki has reportedly ordered the sealed off of a property belonging to the Vice chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Nosa Ogieva who belongs to the Dan Orbih’s faction.
The property located at 51 Akenzua road in Benin the state capital was said to be shut down on the order of the governor even though it has all the legal permits to operate.
Following the brew between the two camps- Obaseki faction and the legacy team- the Obaseki camp have allegely deviced the means of utilizing state apparatus to oppress the members of Edo PDP in Orbih’s camp, Truthlive.net learnt
It was gathered that at the venue, the team leader who came with a troop of Edo State-owned Government Security Operatives (Edo Security Network) explained that, “we have been ordered from above to come and seal up this property and nothing else.”
Chief State Security Officer to the Governor of Edo State stormed the venue to carryout the order came with a large number of Policemen came.
During the operation, some staff of the organization were whisked away and his whereabout is still unknown as of the time of filing in this report.
The CSO said, “we are aware that our staff are here. I came here because I have been informed that Government Officer was fought.”
Although, Ogieva who is the party vice chairman from Edo South Senatorial District was said to have presented all the necessary documents and permission to operate to the team, they insisted adding that, “the order was given from the Government House and no one can stop us.”
Meanwhile, the Deputy State Chairman of Edo PDP who was incidentally at the scene tried to interview but the “errands” said, “we do not want to know whether or not the property got documents and permission.”
Ogieva who is yet to know the location of his staff queried if “its wrong to be a member of the PDP.
