The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC)
Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), has arrested 24 suspected internet fraudsters and recover 11 exotic cars at different locations within Benin City, Edo State .
According to EFCC’s Head, Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the suspects were picked up based on actionable intelligence regarding their suspected involvement in internet- related fraud.
He said that Items recovered from the suspects included: 11 exotic cars, laptops and phones
According to him, they would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
