The Southern Region two Pastor of the Omega Fire Ministry Worldwide, Dr. Azemhe Azena has beckoned on Nigerians to pray for the country in order to assume its pride of place among the comity of nations.
In a Sallah message to Muslim faithful in Benin, Dr. Azena who felicitated with Muslim faithful globally on their successful completion of fasting during the Holy month of Ramadan, commended them for seeking Allah’s intervention, divine guidance and protection in the affairs of the state and the country at large.
Coming just after the successful conduct of the 2023 general elections, Dr. Azena remarked that the Eid el Fitri celebration is a manifestation of the fact that Edo State and Nigeria’s affairs are being ordered by Almighty Allah.
He commended Muslims for seeking Allah’s intervention, divine guidance and protection in the affairs of the state and the country in general.
Ahead of the May 29 handover date to a new administration, the man of God pleaded with Muslims not to relent in praying for Edo state and Nigeria.
He urged Muslim adherents to show love and compassion to others as demonstrated by the Holy Prophet Mohammed and work towards the peace and progress of Edo State and Nigeria as they celebrate.
“We have to keep seeking Allah’s favour, protection and grace for Edo state and Nigeria.
“He saw us through a peaceful general elections and now we have to pray that the administration after May 29 will usher in a new era of national renewal and development for Nigeria”, Azena said.
