Ensure Matriculating Students Start Procession By 8:30 A.M; Varsity Directs Institute And Faculty Officers

The University of Calabar, Calabar has directed Faculty and Institute Officers to ensure Matriculating Students Start Procession By 8:30 a.m.

The directive came, as the University prepares for her 44th matriculation ceremony earlier postponed but now billed for Friday December 2, 2022 at the Abraham Ordia Stadium, Unical by 10 a.m.

A memo, signed by the Registrar Gabriel O. Egbe directed Institute and Faculty Officers also to ensure that the Vice Chancellor’s Procession commence by 9:30 a.m.

According to the memo, inline with the Vice Chancellor’s directive Friday December 2, 2022 has been declared Lecture Free Day for all freshmen to enable them participate fully in the ceremony.

“Provost, Deans of Faculties, Directors of Institutes and Heads of Departments and Units are to ensure strict compliance with the directive.” The memo said.
