Joe Aribo scored his first Premier League goal on Saturday, inspiring Southampton to a 2-2 draw against visiting Leeds.
After Leeds had taken a 2-0 lead thanks to a brace from Rodrigo, Aribo, who came on in the 61st minute, equalized for Southampton 11 minutes later.
And with nine minutes remaining, Southampton’s first point of the season was completed by Kyle Walker-Peters.
With this development, Southampton now moved up to 15th in the league table having lost their first game of the new season against Tottenham Hotspur by 4-1.
In a similar vein, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were in action for the foxes with the latter bagging an assist as Leicester lost 4-2 to Arsenal at the Emirates.
In the 70th minute, Iheanacho came on for Jamie Vardy and set up James Maddison, whose low shot went through the legs of Aaron Ramsdale to make it 3-2.
Arsenal’s new signing Gabriel Jesus scored twice on his home debut, with Granit Xhaka and Gabriel Martinelli also scoring.
Leicester are now 14th, while Arsenal are second after winning two of their two games.
In other results, Manchester City thrashed Bournemouth 4-0 to maintain their lead on the table, Newcastle held Brighton to a goalless draw while Wolves and Fulham also settled for a 0-0 draw.
