Brazilian winger Estevao has expressed his desire to rival Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and River Plate’s Franco Mastantuono for the Ballon d’Or award in the future.
Estevao praised both players, calling them “great players” and acknowledging their incredible potential.
“I followed Lamine Yamal closely in the UEFA Champions League and I was really rooting for him,” Estevao said.
He also praised Mastantuono, saying, “He is also a great player that has incredible potential.”’
Estevao expressed his hope to compete with Yamal and Mastantuono for the Ballon d’Or in the future, noting that it’s interesting to consider the possibility of competing with players of similar age and talent.
“I sincerely hope so to compete with them for the Ballon d’Or in the future,” Estevao said.
While Estevao and Mastantuono aren’t expected to challenge for the Ballon d’Or this year, Yamal is likely to be a strong contender for the award due to his impressive season with the FC Barcelona.
