Alhaji Ali Sa’ad, the first executive governor of Jigawa State, has called for the establishment of more schools in remote areas of his hometown, Birnin-Kudu Local Government Area.

Speaking during the Jigawa State Citizens Engagement Program, Sa’ad emphasized the need to bridge the educational gap in underserved communities, noting that long distances to schools discourage attendance.

Sa’ad also urged the state government to establish more dispensaries across the state to improve healthcare delivery.

This call aligns with the state’s existing efforts to enhance healthcare access, including the launch of the J-Basic Healthcare Services for Vulnerable Citizens program, which provides free and accessible healthcare to 143,500 beneficiaries .

In addition, Sa’ad called for the completion of abandoned road projects to boost economic activities and facilitate easier movement.

Governor Malam Umar Namadi commended the people of Birnin-Kudu for documenting their demands and assured them that their requests would be reviewed and addressed.
