In a press release signed by the Director of Press, office of the minister of FCT, Mr. Anthony Ogunleye and sent to TruthLive News, The Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike, has appointed Hon. Michael O. Chinda as the Senior Special Assistant on Land, Urban, and Regional Planning.

Hon. Chinda, born on September 17, 1960, in Rivers State, brings with him a remarkable academic and professional background.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Port Harcourt (2004) and a Bachelor’s degree in Technology from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (1987).

His career has been marked by a series of notable appointments, including serving as a Senior Lands Officer at the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing (1989-2004), Secretary of Obio Akpor Local Government Council (2008-2010), and a distinguished legislator at the Rivers State House of Assembly (2011-2023).

Notably, Hon. Chinda has been recognized as a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, underscoring his significant contributions to the real estate and land management sector. His appointment to this critical role highlights the importance of land and urban planning in the development of the FCT.

With his extensive experience and academic qualifications, Hon. Michael O. Chinda is well-prepared to tackle the complexities and challenges associated with these areas.
