The Federal Government has approved an Increment in the duty tour allowances of ministers, permanent secretaries and other civil servants.
This was disclosed in a memo signed by Chairman National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission Ekpo U.O Esq.
According to the memo dated August 31, 2022 seen by Truthlive.net, “The President of the Federal of Nigeria has approved the upward review of Duty Tour Allowances applicable to permanent secretary/equivalent from N20,000 to N70,000, and to Minister/SGF/HCSF/equivalent from N35,000 to N80,000.”
Also, the memo noted the Increment takes effect from Thursday September 1, 2022.
