A fire outbreak has destroyed 86 shops in Patiskum main market in Dogo Nini ward, Patiskum Local Government Area of Yobe State.
The tragic incident was confirmed by the Chairman of Traders Association in the Market, Alhaji Nasiru Mato,
He said that the disaster destroyed property and goods worth N40 million in the market.
He further noted that no life was lost to the inferno.
According to him, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, but he’s sure it was not caused by electric surge.
