The Appeal Court has started the process for issuing a ruling on the petition for the 2023 presidential election in which Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party who are contesting the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president-elect in the February 25 presidential election.
It is a five-member panel headed by Justice Haruna Tasmani. Members are Justices Stephen Adah; Justice Sikiratu Bolaji-Yinusa, Jus Ugo; and Jus Aba Mohammed.
Justice Tasmani says: “This is an election petition court, NOT Tribunal. We’ll do our best to move speedily. He solicited the support of all parties and then introduced members of the panel.
