Former Jigawa state deputy governor Ahmad Mahmud, has vowed to work against APC success towards retaining jigawa state in the 2023 gubernatorial elections.
He made the vow when he announced his exit along side former speaker, Hon. Mustapha Makama Kiyawa and hundreds of supporters from the APC to the Peoples Democratic Party in Kiyawa local government area of Jigawa.
According to him, they have concluded plans to weaken the strength of APC among other remaining Chieftains whom he said will join them soonest in the PDP.
He noted that in few week Tsunami will hit APC in jigawa state and push it to the grave that it will not resurrect and resurface again in dreaming to retain power.
Ahmed contended that he has already talked to his political allies and other good people of Jigawa state in APC and that all have accepted to dump the party and join PDP for salvaging Jigawa state.
He described APC as party of deceit with a combination of people with deceit, and failed mission.
He stressed that his days in the APC was nothing short of pain and agony, adding the party has destroyed all the inherited state’s govt Institution’s due to lack of focus, derailing the state to the pitch of destruction.
Responding the APC state party Chairman, Aminu Sani Gumel said the exit of all those that quit their party to the oppositions, was a blessing to them
He described them as people who are among the party’s headache due to their double faced.
He emphasised that their exit will never deterour efforts and commitments towards retaining jigawa state come 2023 gubernatorial elections.
