Former Vice President of the World Bank, Aruma Oteh has called out media mogul and former senator of Nigeria, Ben Bruce, over his claim on Twitter about the Labour Party LP Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

In the tweet which Senator Bruce has since deleted immediately after Oteh’s call out, the later claimed that the LP candidate Obi, endorsed the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for presidency, during his lecture at the Nigerian Bar Association NBA conference, which they attended in Lagos State.

He wrote, “Peter Obi endorses Atiku at NBA.”

Reacting to the tweet, Oteh lectured Bruce that she thought he would be one of those clamoring for an issue-based campaign not a misinformation-based one.

The former World Bank VP also expressed her disappointment by telling the former senator that his tweet goes against his #commonsense# series which was initiated by the him and have carried on for years. She added that she thinks maybe his account was hacked and the tweet did not come from the media boss

Shortly after Oteh’s responding tweet went viral, with making tweeps trolling Bruce, the later deleted the tweet.
