In a heartfelt expression of gratitude sent to TruthLive News, Fred Newton Erhunmunse, the newly elected Chairman of the Edo State Football Association, extended appreciation to those instrumental in his successful emergence in a recent election. The victory, Erhunmunse emphasized, was a collective achievement driven by the unwavering support and prayers of countless individuals.

“I want to sincerely thank Edo state Government for helping out to ensure that we have peaceful elections,” Erhunmunse conveyed his appreciation, acknowledging the pivotal role played by the state government in facilitating a smooth electoral process. He also expressed gratitude to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) delegation, led by Vice President Felix Anyansi Agwu, for their efforts in resolving issues surrounding the Edo FA Elections.

A standout mention went to His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, the Executive Governor of the State, and his Chief of Staff, Hon Osaigbovo Iyoha. Erhunmunse credited Governor Obaseki for ensuring a free, fair, and credible election and commended Iyoha for his physical presence throughout the process, contributing to its seamless execution.

The appreciation extended to various stakeholders, including the past Edo FA acting chairman Dr. Aghedo Moses and the (18) Local FA chairmen who, through their votes, ushered in a new era of football administration in the state.
