President Bola Tinubu on Thursday met with Governor Simi Fubara of Rivers State at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting which held behind closed doors started at about 5:35pm immediately after the governor arrived at the Presidential Villa.
Though the reasons for the meeting is yet to be known, it may not be unconnected with the implementation of the 8-point agreement signed by the governor during his last visit to the Villa.
Recall that Fubara and his predecessor, Nyeson Wike had been having a running battle over who controls the soul of the state.
Fubara had in a recent public function in the state claimed that his enemies were bent on robbing him of the red pen he uses to sign official documents.
In reaction to that Wike had also indirectly replied that when the time was right everybody would know who was in charge.
