Following the resounding success of Dennis Idahosa in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Edo State governorship primary election, Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the APC, has extended his congratulations.
Truth Live News gathered that Hon Idahosa clinched victory with 40,483 votes during Saturday’s election, officially securing his position as the APC candidate for the forthcoming September 21 governorship election in the state. The announcement was made by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, who chaired the APC primary election committee, emphasizing Idahosa’s significant lead among the nine aspirants.
In a statement released by Abdullahi Ganduje’s Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, on Saturday, Ganduje hailed Idahosa’s win and urged him to prioritize unity among aspirants as they gear up for the gubernatorial contest.

Ganduje stressed the importance of cooperation among all aspirants for the overall interest of the party, pledging to mobilize resources to secure victory for the APC in Edo State.
He stated, “I want to congratulate the winner of the Edo State governorship election, I want to equally commend and appreciate Governor Hope Uzodimma’s election committee for their hard work and the transparent manner in which the primary election was conducted.”
