The Black Galaxies of Ghana are set to arrive in Uyo today, ahead of their highly anticipated 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Nigeria’s Home Eagles.
The second leg encounter will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday.
A contingent of 26 players, technical crew members, and Ghana Football Association officials will make the trip, flying into Port Harcourt on a chartered aircraft before connecting to Uyo by road.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation, the Black Galaxies will have a training session at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium later today.
The first leg match ended in a 0-0 draw but will set the stage for an exciting showdown in Uyo.
