Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the governor of Kwara state, lauded the exceptional performance of students in the recently concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) during his visit to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College in Ilorin, the state capital.
Truth Live News gathered that, during his visit, Abdulrazaq congratulated the 35 pupils who achieved scores ranging from 300 to 355 in the national examination. The governor expressed his appreciation for the school’s role in achieving such remarkable results, as seen in a video shared by the state government on social media.
The caption accompanying the video highlighted Abdulrazaq’s visit and his recognition of the school and its high-achieving students. He praised the institution for its contribution to the state’s reputation for quality education and acknowledged the impressive performances of students from public schools as well.
Abdulrazaq had previously commended the students for their outstanding performance in the examination. He emphasized that their achievements, alongside other successes in the state, demonstrate Kwara’s growing prominence in providing quality education at the national level.
