The National President, Borno State Students Association, Comrade Sadiq Wajiro, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency Prof Babagana Umar Zulum MNI, FNSE, Governor of Borno State, for his generous support in providing the association with a befitting secretariat and a vehicle.
He said “ For a considerable period, the students’ union had been lacking these essential resources, hindering its ability to effectively serve its members. The timely intervention of Governor Zulum has addressed this long-standing need, and we are immensely grateful for his kind gesture”.
The provision of a dedicated secretariat and a vehicle has significantly enhanced the operational capabilities of the Borno State Students Association. This support not only empowers the association to better serve the student community but also reinforces their commitment to promoting the welfare and interests of Borno State students.
On behalf of the entire student body, Comrade Wajiro expressed their deepest gratitude to Governor Zulum for his unwavering support. His Excellency’s dedication to improving the education sector and investing in the future of Borno State’s youth has not gone unnoticed. The students were elated and took great pride in his strides as our governor.
Furthermore, He thanked the immediate past Honorable Commissioner of Education and the Executive Secretary of the Borno State Scholarship Board for their invaluable assistance. Their efforts in providing scholarships to the law and French students of the association, have had a profound impact on their educational journey.
He prayed that Allah rewards Governor Zulum, the Honorable Commissioner of Education, and the Executive Secretary of the Borno State Scholarship Board abundantly for their benevolence and grants them elevated status.
