UYO, AKWA IBOM – The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno Ph.D, has approved the appointment of six Delivery Advisors to oversee the execution of strategic projects across various sectors in the state.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, the appointments are aimed at ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of key projects in health, education, transportation, tourism, and social welfare.
The newly appointed Delivery Advisors and their assigned projects include:
Dr. Itanwan James – Senior Citizens Centre
Prof. Augustine Umoh – General Hospital, Ibiono Ibom & Ibom Medical City
Hon. Orman Esin – Marine transportation development, construction of ferry boats, jetty, and CNG inter-city buses
Mrs. Idongesit Etiebet – Construction of model public secondary schools and education monitoring

Sir Charles Udoh – Tourism development, including Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort, and State Tourism Masterplan
Dr. Ini Adiakpan – Nigeria for Women Project.
The state government emphasized that these advisors, given their experience and knowledge, are expected to ensure that all projects under their supervision are executed according to specifications and within approved timelines.
The appointments take immediate effect, reinforcing the government’s commitment to infrastructure development and service delivery in Akwa Ibom State.
