A group, Concerned Edo Citizens Forum (CECF), has described the 100 days of president Bola Amhed Tinibu as a monumental failure.
The group also said that his 100 days in office have thrown more Nigerians into poverty.
The group in a release made available to journalists in Benin City and signed by the Convener, Comrade Roy Oribhabor, said
After critical evaluation and review of Tinubu Presidency’s 100 days in office are wasted days because there is nothing to show for it.
“The first 100 days in office as president are wasted due to lack of direction to move Nigeria forward ,therefore, his policies so far negate progression, development and positive direction.
“The economic policy of the Tinubu led administration is retrogressive that has prompted many Nigerians into deeper poverty.
“Life has become miserable, depressing and uninteresting therefore,we call on Mr. President to revisit his policies for the benefit of Nigerians.
“As concerned citizens, we expect the president to heat the ground running but he failed woefully, it shows to us he is not prepared for the office because there is no policy statement from Tinubu Presidency”, Oribhabor said .
Continuing, the group said , “Many businesses has since collapsed under his leadership, unemployment remains unabated.
“It’s sad to note that his 100days in office is a waste therefore, nothing to celebrate but call for deep sober reflection.
