In a rather funny move, workers of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on Monday morning stormed out in their numbers to celebrate over the sack of the chief executive and registrar, A. G Abubakar.
They also went as far as hiring drummers for the celebration according to viral video.
The rally took place in front of the CAC headquarters in Abuja on Monday morning.
The ecstatic workers described Abubakar as a “tyrant leader”, which speaks volumes of how much they might have suffered under his rule.
The staff appreciated President Bola Tinubu for appointing Hussaini Sani (SAN) as the new registrar for the commission.
Also, they appealed to Sani to ensure anti-labour policies of the last administration are not carried over amid high expectations.
The CAC workers also offered prayers for the new chief executive of the commission. The workers can be seen dancing, singing and moving around the CAC Headquarters while celebrating.
