Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the upcoming September 21 governorship election in Edo State, extended his best wishes to Governor Godwin Obaseki on the occasion of his 67th birthday.

In a statement released by his media team (TAMO) in Benin City on Monday and made available to Truth Live News, Ighodalo lauded Governor Obaseki’s significant contributions to his generation and humanity. He emphasized that history will remember Obaseki favorably for his efforts.

“Your Excellency, on behalf of my family and team, I join millions of other well-meaning friends, associates, and colleagues in wishing you a very warm and happy birthday. You have, no doubt, impacted your generation positively, and history will surely be kind to you,” Ighodalo said.

Praising Obaseki’s governance, Ighodalo highlighted the governor’s exceptional insight and understanding in leading a diverse state like Edo. He commended Obaseki’s administrative skills and leadership, noting the lasting legacy he is creating.

“You have displayed rare insight and understanding of what it takes to govern and lead a multi-ethnic state like Edo. You have shown uncommon administrative acumen in exercising leadership authority in the state. In doing that, you have left your footprints in the sands of time. Your innovative thinking, which has translated into sundry legacies, will be sustained and built upon for the good of our state and posterity, God willing.”

As Governor Obaseki celebrates his birthday, Ighodalo wished him many more years of health, grace, and fulfillment.

“As you celebrate, I wish you many happier years ahead in good health, more grace to impact humanity, and may all your heart desires come to pass,” Ighodalo stated.
