Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, was honored with a Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) at the 6th & 7th Convocation ceremony of the Federal University Lokoja on October 21, 2023. This prestigious award recognized his significant contributions to the advancement of democracy.
During the event, Hon. Dr. Faleke not only graciously accepted this honorary accolade but also called for unity and understanding among all Nigerians. He urged patience with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration as it earnestly pursued its Renewed Hope Agenda.
Furthermore, Hon. Dr. Faleke implored all Nigerians to come together in their efforts to transform Nigeria into a stronger and better nation. He stressed the importance of embracing the Renewed Hope mantra and encouraged everyone to leverage their networks to support this noble cause.
In his address to the graduates, Hon. Dr. Faleke inspired them to be beacons of renewed hope for the nation and true leaders in all aspects of their lives. He emphasized that service to the people should remain a top priority for all.
As the ceremony concluded, congratulatory messages poured on from various well wishers, notably the Ekinrin-Adde Community-Development Association (EACDA), on behalf of His Royal Majesty Olu Anthony Bamigbaiye dowu and the people of Ekinrin-Adde in Nigeria.
