The Wife of the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, Saturday said she presented herself to God as a living sacrifice knowing that God will accept this thanksgiving that she offered before him.
Speaking at the Methodist Church 45th Biennial Conference of the National Women’s Fellowship held at the Grooves Cathedral of the Methodist Church Ikot Ekpene, south south Nigeria, Pastor Eno said “I’m joining you all in thanking him and asking for his mercies.”
On the theme “Contending For The Faith” Eno also said that for a church to be ninety years of existence was indeed filled with God’s faithfulness, Mercy, Grace, and everything good he has blessed us with.
The First Lady said, “I’m here today to congratulate and thank God with you for what God has done,” enjoining them to always live a life of gratitude to God, so they can receive multiple blessings from him.
“I came to present myself to God as a living sacrifice. I’m joining you all in thanking him and asking for his mercies, I know that God will accept this thanksgiving that we have offered before Him today in Jesus name, Amen.” She said.
The Media Unit Office of the Governor’s Wife reports that others who spoke at the event include the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education Lady Rose Bassey and the Archbishop of Ikot Ekpene ArchDiocese of the Methodist Church Nigeria, the most Reverend Etim Ekong, together with the National Executive of the Women’s Fellowship led by the National President Deaconess Maria Aba.
Highpoint were the presentation of gifts to the Governor’s wife who was later decorated with the women’s Fellowship Uniform which they referred to as a symbol of honor and cutting of anniversary’s cake.
