Former Edo South Senator, Ehigie Edobor Uzamere has sent birthday wishes to former Edo state governor, Chief Lucky N. Igbinedion as he clocks 67th today.
Uzamere in the heartfelt message made available to Truth Live News, noted that despite stepping out of the public eye, Chief Igbinedion’s influence endures through his actions rather than words. He explained that his deliberate silence, particularly in the face of opposition and criticism, stands as a testament to his resilience and dignity, earning him respect not only for his family name but for his unwavering commitment to integrity and principles.
The message reads;
“When men of character are listed, your name will make the list.
“For more than eight years, you were in public space as Local Government Chairman and Governor of our dear State, Edo. Since you left public glare, you’ve allowed your silent actions to speak rather than your voice.
“Your seeming silence is one of your greatest attributes. Your choice of silence even when your opponents and those you were instrumental to their climb to relevance disdain you remains a source of hurt and worry for them. You hold respect not only for your family name but for yourself and what humans ought to be.
“Today, I gladly join your family and friends in wishing my brother a very happy anniversary of his birth. As the days roll by, may God Almighty imbue you with more wisdom as you continue to contribute to the growth of our state. May God give you many more years on earth, good health, and the privilege of a loving family.
“On behalf of the House of Ehigie Uzamere, I wish you many happy returns of your day.”
