Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the upcoming Edo State governorship election, extended his deep sympathies on Friday evening to the family of Emmanuel Edionwe, a victim of the devastating convoy accident involving All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Mr. Monday Okpebholo.
The tragic accident, which claimed the lives of Edionwe and four friends on Warrake Road in Owan West Local Government Area, has left the affected families shattered with grief. During his visit, Ighodalo offered heartfelt words of comfort to Emmanuel’s mother and elder sister, as well as a consoling phone call to his father abroad.
Ighodalo, visibly emotional, prayed for God’s comfort and strength for the grieving family, vowing to stand with them through their unimaginable loss.
He further prayed for the families of the other unnamed victims whom he wished he met, so he could sympathize with them physically.
