Asue Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the 2024 Edo State governorship election, has received a major endorsement from Mrs. Stella Alli Ukhurebor, President of the Excellent Woman Association of Nigeria and daughter of the former Governor of Old Bendel State, the late Professor Ambrose Alli.
In her statement, Mrs. Ukhurebor, a well-known grassroots organizer, praised Ighodalo for his integrity, dedication, and leadership. “I have personally witnessed Ighodalo’s integrity, dedication, and leadership,” she said, highlighting his commitment to improving Edo State and Nigeria.

Drawing a comparison to her late father, the respected Professor Ambrose Alli, Mrs. Ukhurebor expressed confidence in Ighodalo’s ability to address the state’s complex challenges through collaboration and consensus-building. “In his character, experience, love for our people, and vision for our state, he reminds me of Prof. Ambrose Alli,” she said.
She also urged others to support Ighodalo’s candidacy. “I wholeheartedly endorse his candidacy and encourage others to join me in supporting his campaign,” she urged.
