To inform residents of the cancellation of sit-at-home exercise in the South-East, the Indigenous People of Biafra have started distributing leaflets and posters there.

The exercise, according to the pro-Biafran group, is intended to convey Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s announcement canceling Monday sit-at-home and to inform the public that sit-at-home is not only “dead,” but also will never again be used as a tactic of civil disobedience in the group’s fight for self-determination.

The group’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, said in a statement on Saturday that “Anyone or anyone talking about a non-existent sit-at-home in Biafraland is an enemy of the people and shall be dealt with accordingly.”

According to Powerful, IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu gave the order to hand distribute the fliers and paste up posters to that effect.

“This is to inform Biafrans about the flyers and posters that are being distributed all over the South-East announcing the cancellation of Monday sit-at-home, and to inform the good people of Biafrans that sit at home is not only dead, but will never again be invoked or deployed as a tactic of civil disobedience in our quest for self determination,” the statement read.

“Our supreme leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has ordered the permanent end to Monday sit-at-home in Biafraland, and anyone seen enforcing this illegal and nonexistent Monday sit-at-home will be apprehended and summarily dealt with on the spot,” the statement continued, “for those who may feign ignorance of the laws governing the conduct expected of IPOB family worldwide.

“These criminal individuals are not fighting for the liberation of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is wrongfully being held in solitary confinement by the DSS in Abuja, Nigeria, or for the restoration of Biafra.

“Those claiming to be in charge of the Biafra Government in Exile, also known as Autopilot, and operating out of some location in Finland are not IPOB members, and their actions do not reflect the opinions of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the rank and file IPOB membership, or the ESN agents.

“Moreso, it is a disgrace that those who have never organized a peaceful street demonstration in Biafraland or anywhere else in the world in favor of the restoration of Biafra can claim to be leading our people. These heroic martyrs who gave their lives for the independence of Biafra deserve better,’ he said. This is utterly unacceptable.

The group reiterated that there is not and will never be an exiled government supporting the Biafran struggle led by IPOB.

“Anyone who is gullible enough to participate in the fraudulent social media hoax known as the Government in Exile (Autopilot) does so at their own risk and should not associate Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB with it.

“Biafraland is owned by Biafrans, and it is the duty of all Biafrans to defend the territory against armed criminal gangs and government-sponsored agents who go by the names of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and Biafra.

“We urge Biafrans to assist in the distribution of leaflets and banners announcing the funeral rites for the pointless Monday stay-at-home protest to communities, the hinterlands, and cities in Biafraland.

“Anyone caught enforcing a sit-at-home rule is done for. You will not be saved by the criminal in Finland, the gang continued.
