Amidst the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, a disturbing video featuring the terrorist group’s commander, Mahmoud al-Zahar, has surfaced. In this viral video, he expresses the group’s ambitious goal of global dominance, proclaiming that Israel is just the first target, and their vision extends to imposing their rule on the entire world.
Zahar’s words in the video are chilling, as he envisions a world spanning 510 million square kilometers under a system devoid of injustice, oppression, killings, and crimes like those they allege are happening against Palestinians and Arabs in various nations, including Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and other Arab countries.
In response to the video, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement reiterating his determination to continue the conflict against Hamas. He made a stark comparison, equating Hamas with Daesh (the Islamic State group), vowing to crush and destroy them, much like the world’s efforts against ISIS.
Hamas, on the other hand, made a threat to execute a captive for every Gaza home struck by Israel without prior notice. Despite this warning, there has been no concrete evidence to suggest that Hamas has carried out these executions. The situation remains highly tense.
The conflict has prompted Israel to establish an emergency coalition government, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Benny Gantz both part of a war cabinet. Netanyahu, in his statements, drew parallels between Hamas and ISIS, emphasizing the heinous acts committed, such as burning individuals alive, and the profound impact of these attacks on Israeli families, with virtually every household having a connection to a victim of these brutal actions. The conflict between Israel and Hamas continues to escalate, with global attention and concerns about its implications for the region.
